Tras KATARSI encontramos una mente inquieta ubicada en los margenes de un gris Bilbao. Este proyecto en solitario engloba la expresion de una serie de decepciones y sentimientos plasmados de manera brutal en musica y letras. Liricamente la autocritica esta presente en cada una de de las lineas, asi como la decepcion, la tristeza y las ganas de superacion; un libro de complacencia catartica sonora para tiempos emocionalmente dificiles en un mundo emocionalmente imposible. Musicalmente esto suena a synth-punk con una base muy 2000s y sonando a bandas como The Epoxies, The Soviettes y a toda la escuderia del sello Dirtnap Records pero a la vez el regusto salvaje y crudo esta latente. Se entrelazan riffs y sonidos del punk mas clasico britanico de Cock Sparrer como del oi! Frances contemporaneo lleno de melodia y melancolia. 8 temas extremadamente pegadizos, coreables, sinteticos y muy necesarios liricamente en estos tiempos… porque no hay nada que podamos cambiar y este sera nuestro final feliz.

Behind KATARSI we find a restless mind located on the margins of a gray Bilbao. This solo project encompasses the expression of a series of disappointments and feelings brutally embodied in music and lyrics. Lyrically, self-criticism is present in each of the lines, as well as disappointment, sadness and the desire to improve; a book of sonic cathartic complacency for emotionally difficult times in an emotionally impossible world. Musically this sounds like synth-punk with a very 2000s base and sounds like bands like The Epoxies, The Sovietettes and the entire team of the Dirtnap Records label but at the same time the wild and raw aftertaste is latent. Riffs and sounds of the most classic British punk of Cock Sparrer and contemporary French Oi! full of melody and melancholy. 8 extremely catchy, choreable, synthetic and lyrically necessary songs in these times... because there is nothing we can change and this will be our happy ending.

This record rips so hard. My buttcheeks automatically clench as the UK82-inspired riffs melt my face off and pulverize what’s left of my brain matter. I’ve been in bands and always wanted to replicate this very sound but was unsuccessful at every attempt…but god damn it am I glad to be alive & have this record to listen to in 2022.
