Emergiendo a mediados de los 2010s desde la soleada costa Oeste de Estados Unidos, en Los Angeles concretamente, FUTURA es un conjunto de caras familiares de la escena local y de caracteristico sonido latino punk de la zona, llegando de bandas como RAYOS X, THE POISONING, POLISKITZO y GRIMA entre otros. Esta es su quinta referencia editada originalmente en cassette por Brainwasher Records en Europa y Salvaged Records en Estados Unidos, y que no podia pasar sin su merecido tratamiento en formato vinilo. 4 temas que son lo ultimo grabado por la banda y que sigue la linea de su personal sonido, toma como eje el punk latino de Los Angeles que se ha dado en los ultimos 20 años y teniendo como buenos referentes actuales a TOZCOS, y le incorpora un deje mas hardcore y que puede recordad a bandas como ULTIMO RESORTE e incluso cierto regusto oscuro en los riffs de guitarra. Las baterias son muy solidas y las lineas de bajo son muy contundentes, generando una base sonora impresionante para la voz de Erika que a ratos puede recordar en su conjuncion a bandas como VICE SQUAD. Una de las mejores bandas que hay en la ciudad sin duda alguna y de la que poco se ha hablado, pero sin duda eso termina ahora porque FUTURA son el FUTURO. PUNK.

Emerging in the mid-2010s from the sunny West Coast of the United States, in Los Angeles specifically, FUTURA is a group of familiar faces from the local scene and the characteristic Latin punk sound of the area, coming from bands like RAYOS X, THE POISONING, POLISKITZO and GRIMA among others. This is their fifth reference, originally released on cassette by Brainwasher Records in Europe and Salvaged Records in the United States, and which could not do without its well-deserved treatment in vinyl format. 4 songs that are the last recorded by the band and that follow the line of their personal sound, taking as their axis the Latin punk of Los Angeles that has occurred in the last 20 years and having TOZCOS as good current reference, and incorporates it a more hardcore tone that may remind you of bands like ULTIMO REORTE and even a certain dark aftertaste in the guitar riffs. The drums are very solid and the bass lines are very forceful, generating an impressive sound base for Erika's voice that at times can remind us of bands like VICE SQUAD. One of the best bands in the city without a doubt and about which little has been said, but without a doubt that ends now because FUTURA are the FUTURE. PUNK.

Glorious hardcore filth out of, I think, Morocco. Apparently Arabic language slabs of attitude directed toward religion and the establishment. But the venom is substantial enough musically to make it all worthwhile. Gavin Hellyer
