Tras su demo del 2020 y su 7” del 2021, Aihotz vuelven a sacar el machete este 2024 con un MLP de 7 temas donde la evolucion musical es bastante notoria. Siguiendo la linea de sus anteriores trabajos,donde las voces de Bea juegan un papel importante como un instrumento mas, la atmosfera creada sigue siendo oscura y psicodelica, pero el sonido es punk. Punk con alguna reminiscencia anarcopunk britanica en algunos riffs, pero sobre todo Hardcore. Baterias rapidas y tribalescas por pasajes, guitarras afiladas y lineas de bajo que llenan y acompañan los ritmos infatigables de las canciones. Efectos de voz, finales y principios abruptos en las canciones, ambiente desquiciado y sonido actual, donde por fin se ve que el punk evoluciona hacia sonidos que no se enquistan en el pasado y dando juego a la experimentacion.

After their 2020 demo and their 7” from 2021, Aihotz are bringing out the machete again in 2024 with a 7-track MLP where the musical evolution is quite noticeable. Following the line of their previous works, where Bea's voices play an important role as another instrument, the atmosphere created is still dark and psychedelic, but the sound is punk. Punk with some British anarchopunk reminiscences in some riffs, but above all, Hardcore. Fast and tribal drums for passages, sharp guitars and bass lines that fill and accompany the tireless rhythms of the songs. Voice effects, abrupt endings and beginnings in the songs, crazy atmosphere and current sound, where it is finally seen that punk is evolving towards sounds that are not entrenched in the past and giving play to experimentation.
